3 Things I Wish I Had Known When First Learning About the Law of Attraction

Why hello there!

Isn’t it just a marvelous day to be alive? I really wanted to dive deep into this blog post (yay!). I thought what better way to do so than to let you babes in on what I WISH I knew when I first started out on my journey.

  1. The Law of Attraction is ALWAYS on

Originally, I thought that it was like a switch that I could turn on and off. I would set aside time each day to focus on manifesting and feeling super positive, then when that time was over I would go back to doing whatever I wanted. As weeks went by and nothing I tried to manifest was coming to me, I was left scratching my head. Ladies, THAT’S NOT HOW THE LOA WORKS!! Just like the law of gravity, the LOA is something that’s on 24/7. You can’t just wake up one day and say, ‘I’m turning gravity off today, I feel like floating.” *facepalm*

  • It’s Not What You Think, It’s How You Feel

I would spend so much time thinking about how I was going to spend millions (nothing wrong with that) but I would be feeling super skeptical at the same time. I had a ton of deep-rooted money beliefs in my subconscious that I wasn’t aware of at the time, but I ignored my feelings. BIG MISTAKE! Your emotions are like a guidance system, letting you know if you’re on the right path of getting what you desire. Would you date someone who totally didn’t feel right but thought was just “good enough”? I sure hope not. You need to pay attention to how you feel! When you feel good/happy/excited/joyous you’re definitely giving out some high vibes. If you feel bad/depressed/confused/stressed you’re vibrating at a super low frequency which will make it hard to attract good things into your life.

  • Gratitude is King

When you’re grateful for not only what you have in your life right now but for what you’ll be receiving in the future, the magic starts to happen. The Universe will take that to mean “She must really enjoy this, let me give her some more or even better!”. If you’re constantly complaining about what you don’t have, talking negatively about others who have what you want or simply taking what you have for granted that’s giving off a strong frequency of lack and unappreciation. Would you keep giving gifts to someone who clearly didn’t appreciate the gifts you’ve given to them previously? Probably not, right? Well, the universe reacts in the same exact way. I remember thinking ‘my life sucks, I want a new car because my current one is super old and low tech.” I must have forgotten that without that car I wouldn’t have been able to get to work, drive cross-state to visit my family or make late-night snack runs.

There you have it! Take these three tips into consideration as you continue your personal manifestation journey. I promise that if you start implementing these, you’ll start to see some magic. Remember that the Universe is always conspiring in your favor, always doing what YOU tell it to do.
